Me

I’m Van, a product designer currently based in Las Vegas (yes, people actually live there). Born and raised in the Bay Area, now on an early-mid-life-fueled hiatus somewhere in Asia, chasing inspiration, good food, and better Wi-Fi.

Think of me as the design world’s Swiss Army knife, only less likely to poke you, and more likely to make your users smile.

I balance the practical with the delightful, the strategic with the scrappy. Whether it’s untangling complex flows, nudging pixels into place at 2 a.m., or aligning user needs with business goals (without starting a civil war), I’m in my zone.

I ask weirdly specific questions. I design faster than I second-guess. I believe good design should feel obvious, even when the problem wasn't. Oh, and I play well with PMs, engineers, and ambiguity.

In short, I design with brains, heart, and a mild obsession with whitespace.
